10 Cent Wings is an Ottawa based Rock band covering a very wide range of music like Kings of Leon, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bruno Mars, Tragically Hip and many more. The band has been together for over 15 years with some members having come and gone.

Alex Goupil is a singer-songwriter based in Ottawa whose alternative indie-pop displays a wide range of emotions and atmospheres from dark and brooding to soulful and inspirational.

Allegra Nocita

Allegra Nocita is a singer, actor and musician with a remarkable voice who enjoys sharing her time and talent with wonderful community organizations and special events. Get into the holiday spirit with some Christmas classics and contemporary favourites with Allegra this season! 

Aurora Jade 

Aurora Jade is a plains cree singer, pianist, songwriter, visual artist and local indigenous mural artist.

She currently lives and works in Ottawa playing various venues and teaching indigenous arts in the schools.

Her original music is written from an indigenous viewpoint and is a mix of classical piano, jazz, rock and soul.

She has been performing since the age of 9 years old and is a third generation musician.

Beats ‘n Keys

Beats’ n Keys is a power pop duo that covers a wide range of music. Making songs their own, with creative vision and elite execution, Beats ’n Keys is a fun pair of musicians that have a little something for every listener. The duo features Jeff Rogers on keys and vocals, and Jamie Holmes on drums.

Brad Lafortune

Brad Lafortune is Métis originally from Sudbury, Ontario. Brad began jigging at a young age and started providing workshops and performances in 2009 upon moving to Ottawa. Brad studied at the University of Ottawa where he received his Bachelor of Science followed by a Master’s of Physiotherapy.

Brad enjoys combining his passion for physical activity and well-being with a deep love and understanding of his culture. Brad believes jigging is an interactive way to physically engage individuals of any age, all the while learning about the intricacies of Métis culture.

Breakfast in Bed

Michelle Gendron and Massil Ait-Ouali are the musicians behind the acoustic duo, Breakfast In Bed. With a passion for 70’s folk and acoustic covers, they have made a name for themselves playing all around the Ottawa Valley. They also own and operate the Orleans Music Studio, providing music lessons for all ages and studio sessions for musicians.

Canadian Military Wives Choir

Canadian Military Wives Choir Ottawa is an all-women choir supporting our military community through vocal music and camaraderie. Members are closely associated with the military, either by marriage, partnership, or occupation. CMWC Ottawa was the very first choir chapter in Canada, organized in 2013. Since then, we have shared stages across North America and welcomed members from around the world.

Capital City Trombone Quartet

The Capital City Trombone Quartet is based out of Ottawa, and was formed in the winter of 2020 under the original name Trom Bros. The members are John van Gulik, Jorden McDormand, Gary Brown, and Murray Cuthbert. The group recently returned from a fall 2023 Tour of Italy with the Ottawa Carleton Male Choir. 

Chantal Hackett Band

Chantal Hackett is a pop/soul singer whose music aims to empower others to follow their path and live their joy. The value and quality she brings to the Ottawa Valley is unsurpassed.

Charles Cleyn

Charles Cleyn, songwriter, performer, and YouTuber. Born in Ottawa, his songwriting tells stories and draws people in with lyrics of optimism, confidence, and personal struggle.

Dan Kelly

Dan Kelly is a singer-songwriter/guitarist from Ottawa and a graduate from Algonquin College’s Music Industry Arts program. Known for his traditional fingerpicking with an ambient twist. He’s travelled and performed in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. Having released two EP’s, with a full length album in the works, Dan continues to strive to create sounds that best convey the intention behind his lyrics, all while creating a sensory experience that transports his listeners into the musical mood he creates.

David Finkle Story Teller

David Finkle is an award-winning traditional indigenous musician maker and proud member of Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.

As a traditional knowledge keeper, he excels at offering a wide variety of things such as Historical presentations from Indigenous perspectives, traditional storytelling, drum/rattle making and indigenous music. He’s done many soundtrack and film-scoring work having performed as well as having organized numerous successful festivals.

Derek McKinley Family Music Show

Singer and children’s entertainer Derek McKinley brings his joy of life to music in a fun way, inspiring children and adults alike!

Encouraging creativity and fun through original songs that empower children that fosters an appreciation for living healthy and environmentally aware.

Erica Brighthill

Erica Brighthill is a country singer-songwriter and performs all over Ontario and Quebec. She most recently opened for JUNO and CCMA Award-winning entertainer, Dallas Smith at the Russell Fair. She’s also recently unveiled a compelling single titled “Bodies in the Basement,” a song that exudes strength, and empowerment and celebrates women’s confidence.

HOROJO Trio

2020 International Blues Challenge Winner, HOROJO Trio is a soul rockin’ rhythm & blues act that features drummer Jamie Holmes, singer/keyboardist Jeff Rogers, and guitarist/singer JW-Jones who was named the year’s Best Guitarist at the IBC. They have been called an Ottawa “super group”, the future certainly looks bright for the exceptional HOROJO Trio.

Jayla Kirkey

Jayla Kirkey performs as a solo artist and with a full band, playing covers and originals.

She has been performing music professionally since 2018 with her musical projects that include: Jayla Kirkey Musician, Steamy Boots, The Silverado’s and The Vandura’s. She’s currently writing and recording an original project fronted by Skyler Radmore.

Whether she’s rocking out bringing the full party with her cover band or performing acoustic shows to listening crowds, you can find Jayla performing around Ottawa. 

Jazzy Little Christmas

From Chestnuts to Charlie Brown, the Christmas Hope Concert is a sparkling program of Yuletide essentials. Superb gospel and jazz, brought to you by Michael Curtis Hanna, Roxanne Goodman and the John Dapaah Trio (Jamie Holmes – drums, JP Lapensée – bass).

Songs from the group’s Christmas album “Have Yourself A Jazzy Little Christmas” will be performed along with other Christmas favourites and other hope filled songs.

Award winning songwriter Jessica Pearson takes you on a journey with her haunting melodies, heartwarming voice and enticing story telling. Mixing country, Celtic and folk music to create her own unique sound.

Jill Joans

A Rideau Valley original, Jillian Joans has performed on stages all over Canada and the U.S. Known for her soulful tone, and bluesy grit, Joans plays a mix of original songs and classic hits. She’s a local you can’t forget and won’t want to miss!

JW – Jones

Billboard Top 10 Blues Artist, 2020 IBC Winner, and JUNO Nominee, Canadian singer/guitarist JW-Jones is known for his high-energy shows! 

After winning “Best Guitarist” at the 2020 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Jones started working on his 12th release ‘Everything Now’, with special guest Jimmie Vaughan, and production by Gordie Johnson (Big Sugar).  Jones continues to accelerate his career momentum to new heights, whether it’s sitting in with Buddy Guy, opening for blues-rock icon George Thorogood, or entertaining thrilled audiences around the world. 

Katie Bernard

Katie Bernard is a singer-songwriter who’s been performing and making music since the age of 13 years old.

She’s had many performances at Disneyworld in Orlando Florida, House of Blues Los Angeles and Bluebird Cafe in Nashville TN. Now living back in Ottawa, she is excited to collaborate with musicians in the Capital. 

Kristine St-Pierre

Enjoy the music of bilingual folk artist Kristine St-Pierre as she sings some original songs sprinkled with holiday classics.

Landon A. R. Coleman

Landon A. R. Coleman plays irresistible acoustic pop influenced by the singer-songwriters of the seventies. Careful listeners will hear elements of doowop, soft-rock, and gospel, but everyone will hear something to tap their toes and sing along with.

Laura Leonard

Laura Leonard is of Maliseet descent and is widely known both as a powerful hand drum singer versed in many aboriginal songs as well as being known as a talented fashion designer. She is often invited into schools to share her gift of song with the students as well as conducting workshops on beading and leather work.

Her fashion is in high demand due to her innovative designs that are both of exceptional quality and authenticity.

She utilizes ancient traditional motifs (in particular materials) in conjunction with contemporary infusion.

Laura also holds a degree in Native Studies from Brandon University.

Makhena Rankin Guerinis 

Makhena Rankin Guerinis two spirit anishinabe hoop dancer from Abitibiwinni First Nation born and raised in Ottawa. She is a part of the turtle clan and her spirit name is she is evening star morning star.

Mike Meunier Duo

Mike Meunier’s acoustic covers of top 40s have been entertaining Ottawa crowds for over a decade. Drummer Scott Collins joins him for a duo performance at the Ottawa Christmas Market.

Nick Bordman

“Nick Bordman has country music in his soul,” – Marshall Ward. From down-south blues to country-rock, to way back traditional country, Nick’s sound is captivating. In November of 2020, Nick was chosen as the Fresh Picks artist on Country 93, receiving airplay on several country stations. In January of 2021, Nick’s music video “Tread Lightly,” was nominated for an Independent Canadian Music Video Award. Nick has been working on his debut EP which will be released in 2023

OK Naledi 

OK Naledi is a high energy Afro House duo group that features traditional sub-Saharan clean guitar lines, classic deep bass, movement-inspiring acoustic drum and beats and that iconic, driving Afro House tempo.

Ottawa Celtic Choir 

The Ottawa Celtic Choir is a non-auditioned women’s community choir in the city of Ottawa that sings songs from the seven Celtic nations, as well as from strongly Celtic-influenced areas in Canada (Atlantic provinces, Quebec, and Ontario). The choir participates in various Celtic festivals and competitions and collaborates regularly with other choirs to bring a wide diversity of Celtic music to Ottawa audiences.

Ottawa Gay Men’s Chorus 

The Ottawa Gay Men’s Chorus (CGOGMC) is the second oldest LGBTQ2+ choir in Canada. CGOGMC is unique as it is a non auditioned choir. It produces two concerts every year, one in December and one in the spring. Under the direction of Tim Piper, CGOGMC is preparing a mix of holiday season songs that includes some classics. We are proud to share the holiday spirit with friends and families at the Ottawa Christmas Market.

Renée Landry

Fiery and uninhibited, Renée Landry is a powerhouse of Northern Ontario soul. Joined by Richard Page on the sax and Deniz Lim-Sersan on keys, this trio will get you in the holiday spirit with your favourite jazz and soul classics.

Saxcappella

Saxcappella is a saxophone quartet playing a variety of Christmas tunes that will get you into the holiday spirit as you take in the Ottawa Christmas Market. Performing a variety of traditional and contemporary Christmas songs and provide family-friendly music for all ages. 

Siqiniup Qilauta (Sunsdrum)

Siqiniup Qilauta (Sunsdrum) does Inuit cultural performances that include throat singing, drum dancing, games and singing traditional songs. The name of the group, Siqiniup Qilauta roughly translates to The Sun’s Drum. The name was influenced by an Inuit legend they heard about the sun. When the sun has a complete halo around it, it indicates good luck and the halo represents a drum.

The group is located in Ottawa, Ontario, and has travelled nationally and internationally.

They are featured on David Newland’s album, Northbound. Lynda Brown works at Students on Ice, Heidi Langille works at Nvision, both are Royal Canadian Geographic Society Fellows.

Skyler Radmore

Skyler Radmore is a Canadian singer/songwriter from Ottawa. With a large variety of influences, he creates an indie rock sound infused with acoustic folk tunes. Currently performing as a solo act around the city while working with multiple original projects on new material and recordings.

Spitfire 91

Spitfire is an Ottawa based cover band offering great live music that will be unforgettable. Playing danceable rock from the 80’s, 90’s, and 00’s, creating an energetic, entertaining and engaging show for all audiences. 

Steamy Boots

Steamy Boots is an acoustic duo from Ottawa Ontario consisting of Scott Reeves and Jayla Kirkey. While a heavily Canadian setlist is standard for Steamy Boots, they span a wide range of genres from 80’s, 90’s, country, classic rock, contemporary, and many new top 40 cuts. One special evening they were playing at Heart & Crown in the market and Brady Tkachuk and Josh Norris of the Ottawa Senators joined them on stage to sing Mr Brightside. Following that night they have been asked to perform at two Ottawa Senators games and will likely return again this year.

Steph La Rochelle

With her breathtaking vocals and heart warming guitar playing, Steph La Rochelle is making her mark. She was a finalist in the coveted CCMA Discovery Program, which included a CCMA award nomination. Steph starred in the Toronto, National Tour, and appeared in London UK’s West End productions of the Broadway hit, Dear Evan Hansen, where she collaborated with Alex Lacamoire at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. Most recently, she held a sold out show at Red Bird Live and packed the house at Ottawa’s RBC Bluesfest. An old soul with a powerful gift to share, this songstress will always leave you with a captivating performance. Her debut, self-penned, Factor-funded EP titled, Wildflower, is available now. 

Sussex

Sussex is a 5-piece popular rock and dance band that has been gracing Ottawa festivals and venues for over a decade. Having shared the stage with the likes of Big Sugar, The Box and Darby Mills (The Headpins) as well as featured at such events as the 2017 Grey Cup and halftime with the Ottawa REDBLACKS, Sussex is guaranteed to deliver an amazing musical experience that makes the good times great!

The Blind & The Beautiful

The Blind And The Beautiful, an acoustic blues/roots duo comprised of guitarist/singer/songwriter Lucas Haneman and vocalist extraordinaire Megan Laurence.

Expressive and soulful sound centered in blues and funk with bold melodies and finely-crafted lyrics. The duo delivers a variety of original blues material with seamlessly blended vocals and soaring harmonies.

The Hallions

The Hallions are a high-energy Celtic rock band from Glengarry County, Ontario. Influenced by artists like Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, The Peelers, The Mahones and The Pogues, their music brings a fresh take on traditional Celtic music. In 2018, they released their debut EP featuring the hit single “Take Me Back” and have since opened for bands like The Real McKenzies, The Mudmen & The Glengarry Bhoys.

Their dynamic live performances celebrate their heritage and love for music, leaving audiences dancing and inspired.

The Lionyls

The Lionyls are a four-piece Rock & Soul outfit based in Ottawa, Canada. Inspired by funk, soul, and rock & roll traditions, they have crafted an unmistakable sound with timeless appeal.

The Pop Shop All-Stars 

The Pop Shop All-Stars, an all-girl performance troupe aged 6 to 18, are Ottawa’s premier youth entertainment group! Tune in for holiday toe-tapping fun for everyone!

The Strum Chums 

Ottawa-based The Strum Chums are lifelong friends who have been performing across the city since 2019, delighting audiences of all ages with their wide variety of styles, genres and talents. From 80s pop to country to classic rock ‘n’ roll and more, crowds are sure to sing along and dance to The Strum Chums!

Valley Mountain

Valley Mountain is setting out to bring much needed representation to female fronted acts around Ontario and abroad, playing their unique brand of classic and current country music from both male and female artists. Since their inception, Valley Mountain have been booked around the National Capital Region and Ontario on a variety of stages for fairs, festivals, and at independent venues alike. Their first release, a cover of The Chicks’ song “Cowboy Take Me Away”, climbed to the #2 spot on The Canadian Indie Country Countdown in August of 2020.

Volume 8

Volume 8 is an eclectic folk rock band from Ottawa. The group plays folk and rock favourites and originals exploring a range of styles from Fleetwood Mac to Red Hot Chili Peppers and everything in between.

Yvan Petit

Yvan’s career started in Smooth Rock Falls Ontario when he was a very young boy. He was not one to play with trucks or other toys, rather you would see him with a guitar, a microphone, and the coffee table as his “stage”. 

Graduating as a recording engineer, Yvan began playing with many bands around the Ottawa region starting a 25 year career as a guitar player for Johnny Reid, Brad Paisley, The Eagles, Dwight Yoakam, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Martina Mcbride, Ricky Skaggs, etc., performing for crowds ranging from 5,000 to 40,000 people. 

In between touring, Yvan began performing independently as a bilingual artist in Ontario and Quebec and has a great reputation for his Thursday night Facebook live concerts. Yvan is eager to bring a selection of French and English sing along songs and covers to the Ottawa Christmas Market and is excited to announce he will also have a Christmas album available that is currently underway in the studio.
